Being a pastor for a day is our proposal. With views over the east side of the Serra da Estrela, and to enjoy a beautiful landscape, in a quiet place, we go to nature at the foot of the city of Covilhãand in intimate contact with the rural world.

15h00: Meeting point: PT Data Center, Covilhã (Lat: 40.268181 / Long: -7.4974678)

  • Local guide presentation | NAG – Animactiva.
  • Departure to the starting point of the program in your own vehicle

15h20: Guided visit to a traditional farm in Covilhã, including:

  • Seeing the flock and getting along with the shepherd.
  • Visit the artisan cheese production room.
  • See (mechanical) milking.
  • See some farm animals.
  • Merenda do pastor – tasting of farm products. (Included)

18h30: Scheduled time for the end of the program.

  • Delivery of tourist documentation and farewell.

Covid-19 Procedures

We advise our clients to bring them to the activity and use their own Personal Protection kit, according to their needs.

It will be available to our customers during field activities and whenever they need it and as a reinforcement of their individual equipment:

  • Gloves (their use is optional, if the customer feels safer to use them).
  • Certified protective mask
  • Alcohol-based disinfectant gel
  • The Internal Protocol will be made available digitally | NAG – Animativa, as well as the recommendations of the Direcção Geral da Saúde.
