“High, immense, enigmatic, haughty, mysterious, remote”… (Miguel Torga) is how Serra da Estrela has been nicknamed in recent times. Sea of alpine tranquility, deeply marked by altitude and glaciations, birthplace of the Mondego, Zêzere and Alva rivers, this Portuguese giant is home to the BIGGEST natural park in the country.

Made of granite and marked by schist, known as the kingdom of snow and wolf, local cattle, glacial lakes and high-altitude pastures, glacier valleys, cheese and looms, Serra da Estrela hosts an important list of flowers and landscape, as well as five priority habitats.

Our experience and knowledge about hiking trails da Serra da Estrela allows us to create programs for groups and hikers, choosing the best options according to the defined objectives and specificity of the group.
